Griffonia simplicifolia seed water extract<\/strong> contains 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), which is an intermediate metabolite of L-tryptophan. In the human body, 5-HTP is converted into serotonin \u2013 a neurotransmitter commonly known as the \u201chappiness hormone.\u201d Serotonin plays a role in nervous system function and is also a precursor of melatonin.<\/p>\n

Oregano (Origanum vulgare) leaf extract<\/strong> is a traditional herbal ingredient.<\/p>\n

L-tryptophan<\/strong> is an essential amino acid and a precursor in serotonin biosynthesis.<\/p>\n
